Special Needs Ministry Grows!

The ministry for moms of special needs children has grown to 16 families. The children have conditions that range from cerebral palsy to blindness. The moms are brought to Pasture Valley for a time of respite and fellowship. They enjoy sharing a meal and encouragement while their little ones are cared for by staff. This month, Michelle taught them how to make liquid dish soap to sell and create a small income for their families. Each mom was given a care package of soap, shoes, diapers, and fresh cabbage from the farm. One mom asked if she could please have a sponge for her child to sleep on. Little Sipho's wheelchair had a hole that needed repair, and we were able to give him a replacement chair until his was fixed. Thank you!
